Doors will open at 5:30 pm and Candidate introductions will start at 6:00 pm.
Each Candidate will have a chance to introduce themselves and then they will be asked questions from the community. Questions will be done ahead of time and no open mic will be available.

The Business & Community Awards 2024 will be held on September 21, 2024. The Nomination forms can be picked up at the Visitor Centre table on Thursday evenings during the Community Market. Businesses around town will also have copies for you to pickup. Also, you can fill out this form and email it to office@mackenziechamber.bc.ca or print it out and bring it into the office.
The next monthly Chamber General Meeting will be held on May 16th at noon in the Mackenzie Legion. Our speaker this month is Jennifer Moore from Northern BC Tourism. She will be speaking about tourism trends in Northern BC and what we may look forward to. Please let the Chamber office know if there is anything specific you would like Jennifer to speak about.
The Annual Spring Expo Dance is happening on Saturday, May 4th! Doors open at 8 pm and the band will start playing at 9 pm. This year's dance will be the FINAL show for our locally famous TUNE COUNCIL! It will be an event not to miss!
Tickets are $15 each in advance or $20 at the door. Snacks and Door Prizes will be available to those who attend. 19+ event.
Evergreen Taxi will be providing a Safe Ride Home between 10 pm and 12 am.

The Spring Expo Show & Shine will be happening on Saturday, May 4th in the upper parking lot at the Mackenzie Recreation Centre! Participating vehicles can show up between 9 and 10 am to get parked and then registered at the table. Please let us know if you are planning to show off your vehicle so we know what numbers to expect. Spectators can view the cars, trucks, motorcycles, atvs, industry vehicles, etc. from 10 am to 4 pm - make sure to vote for your favourite! The People's Choice winner will receive an award to remember how fabulous they are!! HUGE thank you to Myatovic Bros. Logging Ltd. for sponsoring our Show & Shine this year!
On March 27th, we had to announce the unfortunate decision that our Annual Spring Expo with fantastic vendors, organizations, entertainment, and community representatives was cancelled. The decision was not made lightly. The Spring Expo is an event that everyone looks forward to each year and participants have it on their calendars a year in advance. Mackenzie Strong Thank You Front Line Workers
We have been funded by our Federal Government to host a celebration and thank you to our Health Care & Front Line Workers and Essential Services. We are having a party on Saturday, February 25th, doors open at 11:00 am in the community rooms at our Rec. Centre. We will have Ice Sculptors in the Spirit Square depicting these services. We will be hosting a business market, food, entertainment and awards ceremony, all free to the public. Weather permitting there will be fireworks at 6:30 pm. There will be a dance at the Legion at 8:30 pm. Sure hope you can attend!
